Jacek Krawiec is an experienced business leader who has been implementing successful strategic projects for over 20 years. He specializes in enterprise management, strategy implementation and energy. He is economist, in 1992 he graduated from the University of Economics in Poznań with a degree in Economics and Organization of Foreign Trade.
His experience includes cooperation with management boards of domestic and international companies.
In 1992 he was employed at Bank PEKAO S.A.; in 1993 at Ernst & Young S.A. as a Consultant in the Management Consulting Department. In the years 1993-1997 he held the position of assistant, senior assistant, assistant manager and Manager in the Corporate Finance Department at PriceWaterhouse Sp. z o.o.
In 1998, he was responsible for the Polish market in the British branch of the Japanese investment bank Nomura plc in London. In the following years 1998-2002 he was the President of the Management Board and CEO of Impexmetal. In 2002 he took the position of the President of the Management Board of Elektrim. In 2003-2004 he was the Managing Director of Sindicatum Ltd London. Then he held the position of the President of the Management Board of Action SA (2006-2008). He chaired the Supervisory Boards of the following companies: Huta Aluminium "Konin", Metalexfrance Paris, S and I SA Lausanne, ce-market.com. He was also a member of the Supervisory Boards of the following companies: Impexmetal, Elektrim, Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa, Elektrim Telekomunikacja, Elektrim Magadex, Elektrim Volt and PTE AIG.
In the years 2008-2015 he was the President of PKN Orlen.
Currently, he works as Senior Advisor to the President of the Management Board, where he actively supports the management board in shaping the long-term vision, strategy and increasing the company's share in the global fuel and energy market. He is also the Chairman of the Management Board of ORLEN UPSTREAM Norway.
