Benzina is closing the first year of its activities in the Slovak market with ten filling stations. Drivers can fill up their vehicles with Efecta and Verva fuels in Malacky, Holice at Dunajská Streda, Lužianky at Nitra, Šelpice at Trnava, Šurany at Nové Zámky, Strečno, Tesárske Mlyňany and Senec. Two more stations are self-service outlets Benzina Expres. They are located in Banská Bystrica and Košice and will be put into operation in the coming weeks.
“We are closing the first year of our activities in Slovakia. We are pleased that we have met our plan to have ten stations there. But it is still true that it is more important for us to adhere to our planned business model than to have a high pace of development,” says Tomasz Wiatrak, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Unipetrol Group which also includes Benzina, adding: “Next year, we will continue expanding the number of filling stations. We will also focus on interior modernisation and expansion of the goods and services proposition in the existing sites.”
Benzina filling stations offer an end-to-end selection of top-quality additivated fuels, Efecta 95 and Efecta Diesel, with a purifying effect, and premium fuels Verva 100 and Verva Diesel aiming at high engine performance. In addition to that, motorists can have some rest and treat themselves with popular hotdogs and delicious coffee. The Stop Cafe fast food concept will expand the offer next year.
Two Benzina self-service stations in Banská Bystrica and Košice will be put into operation in the coming weeks and will be completely reconstructed at the beginning of the next year to the new Benzina Expres concept. Here, too, a complete range of high quality additive Efecta and Verva fuels will be available to drivers.
Benzina has decided to return to Slovakia after 15 years. The brand was born in the then Czechoslovakia in 1958. After 1989, Benzina was transferred to private owners and temporarily lost the right to use the brand on the Slovak market. Benzina is coming back to Slovakia as a leader on the Czech market where it operates the widest network of 413 filling stations and controls 24% of the market by the volume of fuels sold. Benzina is part of the international group, Orlen, which runs almost 3,000 stations in five countries (Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Slovakia). Just like its parent company, ORLEN, Benzina, stands for modernity, trust, convenience, a wide offer and top quality of products and services.
