Zdeněk Jíra become a new member of the Board of Directors of the ORLEN Unipetrol Group, effective November 1, 2024. In his new role, he will focus primarily on the financial management and audit of the whole Group in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
Zdeněk Jíra has nearly 20 years of managerial experience in financial management and audit. In the past four years, he was Director of the Financial Reporting and Tax Strategy Division at the logistics company Eurowag. Between 2014 and 2020, he held managerial positions focused on finance and compliance at SITA, which provides IT solutions for the air industry.
"I am coming to the ORLEN Unipetrol Group to make use of my experience in financial management in an international company. I am very much looking forward to the opportunity to participate in the management of one of the key companies in the Czech industry," said Zdeněk Jíra, a new member of the board of directors of the ORLEN Unipetrol group.
Zdeněk Jíra graduated from the Faculty of International Relations at the Prague University of Economics and Business and holds the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) international certification for finance and accounting.
